Chief Minister Shah emphasizes need for private sector collaboration in Sudurpaschim development
Kailali: Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah has emphasized that support and collaboration from the private sector are essential to accelerate the province’s economic and infrastructure development.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Lamki Festival-2082 on Wednesday, held under the slogan 'The basis of a united Lamkichuha – agriculture, education, tourism, industry and trade', Chief Minister Shah stated that the provincial government is prepared to introduce policy and legal reforms in partnership with the private sector. "I am committed to removing legal obstacles by collaborating with the private sector," he said, noting that continuous communication is ongoing with the private sector, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, donor agencies, and development partners to create an investment-friendly environment.
He assured that existing legal hurdles, processes, and regulations in the province will be reviewed and amended to resolve problems. Highlighting preparations for the Investment Conference-2082 aimed at attracting national and international investment to Sudurpaschim Province, Chief Minister Shah said that interactions with potential investors are underway. The conference, he added, will present a comprehensive overview of the province’s potential, resources, and opportunities.
