One killed, one injured in road accident in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: A road accident in Kanchanpur has claimed one life and left another injured. The accident occurred on Friday afternoon in Aamthala, Bedkot Municipality-8.

The motorcycle (Ma 2 Pa 8402) driven by 31-year-old Shiva Rana of Suda, Bedkot Municipality-7, collided with an Argo mixer used for bus construction, driven by Awadhesh Kumar Mahato from Bihar, India.

Rana, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, died during treatment at Mahakali Provincial Hospital, Mahendranagar. Bhim Rana, a passenger on the back of the motorcycle from the same area, was also injured and is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital.
