Dhangadhi: Madan Bhatta, a leading figure in the insurance sector of the Far West, has inaugurated Nyachura Resort at Dhangadhi-3, Gurudwara Marg. Bhatta, who previously operated a chicken station in Dhangadhi, launched the resort with an investment of Rs 10 crore.

Bhatta stated that the resort aims to provide high-quality restaurant and residential facilities in the provincial capital, catering primarily to corporate guests.

The resort features a restaurant, a conference hall, and 17 well-equipped residential rooms, including eight super deluxe and seven deluxe rooms. The lodge and restaurant occupy separate buildings, with Rs 3 crore spent on land and Rs 7 crore on construction.

The resort premises include ample parking and landscaped greenery, with water fountains and artificial waterfalls. Bhatta highlighted that the design allows guests to enjoy natural surroundings—sunlight during winter and shaded areas under trees in summer.

Active in the life insurance sector for many years, Bhatta has earned a reputation for insuring the highest number of people nationally each year. He had previously launched the Chicken Station in Chatakpur, Dhangadhi, and has now officially inaugurated Nyachura Resort.

The resort was inaugurated by Pushkar Raj Ojha, President of the Kailali Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Keshav Raj Pandey, President of the Hoteliers Association.

Bhatta noted that his investment in the hospitality sector was driven by its potential and has created full-time employment for 40 people across the Chicken Station and the resort. “I invested in this sector to create opportunities locally,” he said. “I have directly provided employment to 40 people. I wanted to establish a resort in Dhangadhi comparable to those in Kathmandu, and the feedback has been positive.”

He emphasized the importance of investing in local businesses and encouraged youth and investors to explore opportunities in various sectors to prevent the outflow of capital and manpower.
