One killed in motorcycle accident in Baitadi

Baitadi: A man has died in a motorcycle accident in Baitadi district. The deceased has been identified as 58-year-old Prem Singh Bista of Sukeli, Patan Municipality-6, according to Police Inspector Baldev Badu of the District Police Office, Baitadi.

Bista had left home around 4 pm on Thursday to go to Siude but was found dead today. After he did not return home until late Thursday, his family reported the matter to the Area Police Office, Patan. During the search, his body was discovered about 100 meters below the Annadi turn of Patan Municipality-4 along the Dasharathchand Highway.

Police Inspector Badu said that Bista’s motorcycle (Suppra 01-011 Pa 7151) was also found off the road at the accident site. His body has been kept at the Primary Health Center in Patan for postmortem, and further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
