Fugitive drug case defendant arrested in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Police have arrested a fugitive defendant from Dhangadhi in Kanchanpur.

23-year-old Abhishek Rana, a resident of Chatakpur, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3, Kailali, had been absconding following a District Court Kanchanpur verdict dated 22 Asoj 2080, which sentenced him to 11 months in prison in a drug-related case. A police team deployed from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, apprehended Rana at his residence on Wednesday.
