Ten arrested while fleeing to India after knife attack on Godavari youth

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested 10 individuals in connection with the stabbing of Gaurav Air of Dadeldhura while he was having dinner at Shubham Hotel in Godavari Municipality-4, Kailali.

A joint team from the District Police Office and Area Police Office, Malakheti, apprehended the suspects, including Sunny Nepali of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2, as they attempted to flee to India on Monday night.

According to police, all 10 suspects were taken into custody near the border crossing and are being held at the District Police Office, Kailali, for further investigation.

Air, 32, a resident of Navadurga Rural Municipality-2, Dadeldhura, was stabbed on Sunday night and has been taken to India for medical treatment.
