Bipin Joshi excluded from Hamas list of 20 prisoners to be released

Kathmandu: The list of 20 prisoners of war that Hamas plans to release following the ceasefire agreement with Israel has been made public, but Nepal's Bipin Joshi is not included.

Nepali Ambassador to Israel, Dhan Prasad Pandit, confirmed that Joshi's name does not appear among those scheduled for release. All 20 individuals listed for release by Monday are Israeli citizens, according to the ambassador.

Israel and Hamas agreed on Thursday to end the two-year-old conflict through a US-mediated ceasefire. While there had been hopes that Bipin Joshi would be included in the release, his current condition remains unknown, Ambassador Pandit stated.
