Five injured in Darchula jeep accident undergoing treatment at Maya Metro hospital

Dhangadhi: Five people injured in a jeep accident in Darchula on Sunday are undergoing treatment at Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi, according to Jagat Mahata, Public Relations Manager of the hospital.

The accident, which occurred in Mahakali Municipality-9, Gajuradi, left one person dead and 10 others injured.

Among the injured, Tribhuvan Bahadur Pal (14), Lokendra Dhami (27), Shubham Pal (25), Jaya Bahadur Pal (27), and Pankaj Pal (28) are receiving treatment at Maya Metro Hospital. The hospital has informed that their health condition is stable. The remaining injured are being treated at local health institutions.

The jeep (Bagmati Province 03001 Ja 0206) plunged about 150 meters below the road into a river at Gajuradi while heading toward Nisil from Sakar on Sunday afternoon.

Naresh Bahadur Pal (28) of Mahakali Municipality-9 lost his life in the accident.
