Malikarjun concrete industry donates furniture to Kailari rural municipality after Gen-z protests
Dhangadhi: Malikarjun Concrete Industry, Dhangadhi, has provided support to Kailari Rural Municipality by donating two sets of tables and revolving chairs.
The donation comes after Gen-z protesters set fire to goods inside the rural municipality’s administrative building on Bhadra 24, severely disrupting services. The materials were handed over on Sunday to help restore office operations.
Representatives of Malikarjun Concrete Industry presented the items in the presence of Kailari Rural Municipality Chairman Rajsamj Chaudhary, Vice Chairman Bhagwati Kumari Chaudhary, Chief Administrative Officer Khagendra Raj Joshi, Planning Branch Chief Santosh Kumar Chaudhary, Ward-2 Chairman Bikash Chaudhary, and Ward-8 Chairman Taramal Katharia, among others.
The protests had resulted in vandalism and fire damage across all branches of Kailari Rural Municipality, including the ward office building. Following the destruction, the rural municipality has resumed services in the ward office with support from the donated furniture.
