Three arrested with drugs in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested three individuals with drugs in Dhangadhi, Kailali.

Prakash Bhattarai, 25, of Amargadhi Municipality-7, Dadeldhura, was apprehended near Byarel, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3, with 1 gram 280 milligrams of heroin. He was taken into custody on Thursday by a police team deployed from the District Police Office, Kailali.

Similarly, during a motorcycle inspection at Byarel, Dhangadhi-3, police arrested motorcycle driver Sanjit Rana, 29, of Manehara, Dhangadhi-7, and pillion rider Sobhat Rana, 28, of the same location. Authorities recovered 900 milligrams of brown heroin along with the motorcycle (Sudurpaschim Province 01-012 Pa 6553).

Both have been taken into custody by the District Police Office, Kailali.
