Bhimdatta highway reopens after landslide clearance, KI Singh highway blocked again
Dadeldhura: The Bhimdatta Highway, a vital road link connecting seven hilly districts of the Far West, has reopened after landslide debris was cleared.
The highway had been blocked at Bhatkada in Ganyapadhura Rural Municipality-1 but was restored to traffic after security personnel removed the obstruction, according to Police Inspector Dambar Bista of the District Police Office, Dadeldhura.
Meanwhile, the KI Singh Highway, which connects Dadeldhura and Doti, has once again been blocked. A landslide at the Raduwa River in Ganyapadhura has halted traffic movement. The route, which had briefly reopened earlier, is now disrupted again due to the fresh slide.
