Minister Poudel: Government actively working for the people
Far West: Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Poudel has stated that the current government is actively working to serve the people.
Speaking at a press conference organized by the Nepal Press Union in Dhangadhi today, Minister Poudel emphasized that he is working diligently to ensure visible change, warning that if people do not feel the impact, it could send a negative message about the government. He noted that since the formation of the current constitution, only political mechanisms have been implemented, leading to criticism as basic public needs, such as health and education, have not been addressed as expected.
Minister Poudel also highlighted the government’s commitment to operating a hospital at Shaheed Dasharath Chand Health Sciences University in Kailali and initiating MBBS education. “Geta Medical College will be upgraded to 300 beds, and for this, the posts of 250 human resources have been submitted to the Ministry of Finance for approval,” he said.
