Female health worker found dead in Baitadi

Baitadi: A female health worker has been found dead in Baitadi district.

The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Anami Bhagarathi Kunwar, who was employed at the Bijaypur Health Post in Purchaundi Municipality-10. She was discovered hanging in her room at around 8 pm on Sunday, confirmed District Police Office spokesperson Balram Pandey.

Kunwar, a resident of Chaumala in Purchaundi-10, had married only last Baisakh. Her husband is currently serving in the Nepali Army.

Following the incident, a police team led by Inspector Rajendra Saud from the Area Police Office, Patan, was deployed to the scene. The District Police Office has stated that further investigation into the case is ongoing.
