Woman found dead near Khaptinala in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: The body of a woman has been discovered in Kanchanpur.

On Thursday morning, 42-year-old Bindu Chaudhary of Belauri Municipality-8 was found dead near Khaptinala, located on the border of Belauri Municipality Wards 7 and 8, police said.

According to police, Chaudhary had been unwell for some time and was known to speak to herself. Concerned about her condition, her family had sent her to her aunt’s house in Butabari, Belauri, for a week. She had returned home only yesterday.

She reportedly went missing after going down to Belauri, prompting a search by her family. She was found dead this morning.

Her body has been taken to the Shreepur Health Post for post-mortem examination. Police said further investigation into the incident is underway.
