Notorious Indian arms dealer ‘Salim Pistol’ arrested in Nepal
Dhangadhi: An Indian national and alleged illegal arms dealer has been arrested in Nepal.
Sheikh Salim, 52, a resident of Delhi and widely known by the alias ‘Salim Pistol,’ was taken into custody, according to Indian security sources.
Identified as a major figure in India’s illegal arms trade, Salim had been on the fugitives list of Indian security agencies for a long time. A special team from the Delhi Police confirmed his arrest in Nepal, though his exact location has not been disclosed.
Indian security officials have hailed his capture as a significant achievement in their crackdown on illegal arms trafficking.
