Three fugitives arrested in theft and forest offense cases in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Three individuals wanted in theft and forest-related cases have been arrested in Kailali.

A police team from the District Police Office, Kailali, apprehended 19-year-old Nisant Rana of Godavari Municipality-7, Kailali, who had been absconding after being sentenced by the District Court, Kailali, to four months in prison and a fine of Rs 3,333 for theft. He was arrested along with another absconding individual from Manehara, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-7 on Monday.

In a separate operation, Jitu Chaudhary of Janaki Rural Municipality-8, Pahadipur, who had been fined Rs 18,440 in a forest offense case by the District Court, Kailali, was arrested from his residence. The arrest was carried out by a police team from the Area Police Office, Tikapur.
