Three arrested with pistols and lion’s ,ane in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Three individuals have been arrested with three pistols and a lion's mane in Kailali.

The arrested have been identified as Dilip Karki, 50, of Ambadi in Bhajani Municipality-9, his son Bikash Karki, 22, and Suresh BK, 30, of Bhajani Municipality-5. A joint team from the Sudurpaschim Province Police Office, Dhangadhi, and the District Police Office, Kailali, apprehended the trio during a search operation at Dilip Karki’s residence on Monday.

According to the Province Police Office, the recovered items include one pistol marked NF Bobby with 11 rounds and a magazine, one unissued .22 bore (Hornet) firearm with 24 rounds, one semi-automatic pistol, a wooden gun stock, one box of pellets, a loaded gun horse, two bunches of peacock feathers, three pieces of deer skin, and a lion’s mane.

Police stated that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
