Lions Club of Dhangadhi city donates Rs 75,000 for student uniforms in rural Sschools

Dhangadhi: The Lions Club of Dhangadhi City has extended financial support to aid the educational improvement of students in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City, Kailali.

Marking its 15th foundation day, the club has contributed Rs 75,000 to distribute uniforms to students attending community schools in rural areas of the sub-metropolitan city.

The funds were provided through the Mona Smriti Fund and Kaushalakumari Smriti Fund—revolving funds operated by the Lions Club of Dhangadhi City. While in previous years the club directly supported students through these funds, this academic session the money has been transferred to the sub-metropolitan city for implementation.

Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City has reported collecting a total of Rs 64,45,750 from various organizations and institutions so far to support educational initiatives in rural community schools.
