Landslide dsrupts jayaprithi highway, traffic resumes after clearance

Baitadi: The Jayaprithi Highway, which connects Khodpe and Bajhang in Baitadi, was disrupted by a landslide near Nachanthali earlier today but has now been reopened.

The landslide, which occurred at around 9 a.m., blocked the highway and halted vehicular movement along the route. According to Balaram Pandey, spokesperson of the District Police Office and Police Inspector, the road was cleared and fully operational by 3 p.m. with the assistance of a dozer from the Road Division Office, Patan.

Following the clearance, all halted vehicles have resumed their journeys towards their respective destinations.
