Two arrested with heroin in Kailali, police investigation underway

Dhangadhi: A special team from the District Police Office, Kailali, has arrested two individuals in possession of illegal drugs.

The arrested have been identified as Tej Bahadur Khadka, 28, of Purbichauki Rural Municipality-4, Doti, and Rabin Kumar Malla, 22, of Shanti Tole, Godavari Municipality-2, Kailali.

Acting on a tip-off, police apprehended Malla from the Godavari Municipality area and discovered 9 grams and 60 milligrams of brown heroin during a search. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Khadka for his involvement in the drug-related activities.

Police have confirmed that both individuals, along with the seized narcotics, are in custody as further investigations continue. Authorities have also intensified efforts to trace others connected to the incident.
