Home Minister Lekhak reviews peace, security, and disaster management in Baitadi

Baitadi: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has been briefed on the status of peace, security, and disaster management in Baitadi district.

During a visit to the District Administration Office on Thursday, Minister Lekhak received updates from local authorities and provided necessary directives to the concerned officials.

Chief District Officer Punya Bikram Poudel said the minister was given a comprehensive overview of the district’s current situation regarding peace, security, and disaster preparedness. “We have provided a detailed briefing to the Home Minister. He has instructed us to leave no stone unturned in disaster preparedness and management. We will act accordingly,” Poudel said.

Minister Lekhak arrived in his home district of Baitadi on Wednesday for a three-day visit. His itinerary includes family and political engagements, as well as religious observances at the renowned Tripura Sundari Temple, according to his secretariat.
