Fire at poultry shop in Kanchanpur causes damage worth over Rs 100,000

Kanchanpur: A fire incident in Bhimdatta Municipality-10, Kanchanpur, has resulted in property damage exceeding Rs 100,000.

According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, the fire broke out on Saturday at a poultry shop operated by Mahesh Luhar, a resident of Shukasal. The blaze reportedly started due to a gas pipe leak while roasting poultry meat.

The fire caused damage to equipment and goods, including de-freezers and fans, amounting to approximately Rs 120,000. Authorities confirmed that the fire has since been brought under control.
