Two killed, four injured in jeep accident in Doti

Dhangadhi: Two people have died in a passenger jeep accident in Doti district.

The accident occurred on Friday afternoon along the Dipayal Mauwa Mellekh Road in Dobaj, Adarsh Rural Municipality-1. According to Police Inspector Ram Chandra Joshi of the District Police Office, Doti, the jeep veered off the road and plunged approximately 250 meters down a slope.

Two individuals died on the spot, while four others sustained injuries. The identities of the deceased and the injured have not yet been disclosed. The injured have been transported to a nearby health post for treatment.

A police team led by Inspector Rajendra Chand has been dispatched to the site. Authorities have confirmed that an investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway.
