Youth dies after lightning strike in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A 26-year-old youth lost his life after being struck by lightning in Kailali district.

According to police, Upendra Bahadur Shahi, a resident of Gauriganga Municipality-2, Jhil, died on the spot after being struck by lightning near his home. The incident occurred at approximately 11:50 a.m. on Thursday while he was walking in a field.

DSP Ran Bahadur Chand of the Area Police Office, Malakheti, confirmed the incident.
