Outstanding health institutions and workers honored in Baitadi

Baitadi: Top-performing health institutions and exemplary health workers were honored in Baitadi district during an annual review seminar held in Khodpe, Patan Municipality-8 on Tuesday.
According to Bipin Lekhak, Information Officer at the Health Office Baitadi, a total of 10 health institutions and 6 health workers from 10 local levels of the district were recognized with certificates for their exceptional service.

The honored institutions include the proposed basic hospital in Dilashaini, Shrikot Health Post in Dogadakedar Rural Municipality, Bhauneli Health Post in Surnaya Rural Municipality, Purchaundi Hat Health Post in Purchaundi Municipality, and Ganjari Health Post in Sigas Rural Municipality.

Additionally, Gurukhola Health Post of Dasharathchand Municipality, Siddheshwor Health Post of Patan Municipality, Kesharpur Primary Health Center of Melauli Municipality, Shreepur Basic Health Center of Shivnath Rural Municipality, and Pancheshwor Health Post of Pancheshwor Rural Municipality were also recognized as the best institutions.

Tirtharaj Bhatta, Chief of the Health Office Baitadi, stated that the selections were made based on minimum service standards, governance and management, therapeutic services, and overall service delivery.
Six health workers were also honored for their outstanding contributions. The awardees include Senior ANM Pushpa Kumari Budha (Rudreshwar Health Post, Dilashaini), Senior ANM Saraswati Bhatta (Shrikot Health Post, Dogadakedar), Senior ANM Rajeshwori Airi (Thaligada Health Post, Dasharathchand), Senior AHEB Gambhir Dhami (Mahadevsthan Health Post, Purchaundi), Senior AHEB Naresh Bahadur Chand (Kailapal Health Post, Patan), and Senior ANM Laxmi Bhatta (Siddheshwar Health Post, Patan).
Bhatta noted that the health workers were honored with certificates and dosallas as a token of appreciation for their service. Information Officer Lekhak added that the recognition aims to inspire and encourage health workers to continue contributing energetically to their field.
The Health Office Baitadi has been honoring outstanding health institutions and workers annually.
