70 players selected from Baitadi for provincial-level President's running shield

Baitadi: A total of 70 players have been selected from Baitadi to participate in the Sudurpaschim provincial-level President's Running Shield competition. The selection followed the successful completion of the 15th district-level President's Running Shield event held recently in Purchaudi Municipality.

According to Tarkaraj Joshi, Chief of the Baitadi District Sports Committee Office, the players were chosen based on their outstanding performance during the district-level games. The selected roster includes nine male and nine female volleyball players, nine male and nine female kabaddi players, 11 male and 11 female athletics players, and six male and six female karate players.

All ten local levels of the district took part in the district-level competition. Chaman Kumar Bhandari, Chairman of the District Sports Committee, confirmed that the selected athletes will represent Baitadi in the upcoming provincial-level competition. While the event is scheduled to take place within this month, the exact date has not yet been announced.
