NCP majority leader arrested for black masking Joshipur rural municipality chairperson

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested a leader of the NCP majority on charges related to the black masking of Joshipur Rural Municipality Chairperson Chitra Bahadur Chaudhary in Kailali.
Ramesh Saud, 34, a resident of Dhangadhi, was arrested by a team from the District Police Office, Kailali, from the Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan area on Friday morning.

His arrest follows a complaint filed by Chairperson Chaudhary under the charge of indecent behavior. The complaint names Saud and 10 others, accusing them of black masking the chairperson and publicly releasing a video in which he was accused of corruption.

Police have stated that efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend the remaining individuals involved in the incident.
