Three, including a woman, arrested in cheque dishonour and theft cases

Dhangadhi: Three individuals, including a woman, have been arrested in separate cheque dishonour and theft cases from Kailali and Kanchanpur districts.

A team from the District Police Office, Kailali, arrested 42-year-old Kabindra Panta of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-1, who had been absconding after being fined Rs 1,000 by the District Court in a cheque dishonour case. In a separate arrest, Babita Kunwar, 30, of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-6, was also taken into custody by a team from the Ward Police Office, Dhangadhi, following a similar court verdict and fine of Rs 1,000.

Meanwhile, Bhim Bahadur Chaudhary, 52, of Bedkot Municipality-5, Dharampur, was arrested by a team from Police Post Suda, Kanchanpur. Chaudhary had been fined Rs 4,500 by the District Court in connection with a theft case.
