Dhangadhi man arrested after absconding in banking offence case
Dhangadhi: Bir Bahadur Deuba, a resident of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-18, has been arrested after absconding for a long time in connection with a banking offence case. The 53-year-old had been sentenced by the District Court Kailali to a fine of Rs 897,000 and three months in prison. Deuba, who had been evading authorities, was apprehended by the Crime Investigation Team of the District Police Office Kailali. The arrest operation was led by Deputy Inspector General of Police Gajendra Bahadur Chand, according to Police Inspector Joshi of the District Police Office.
