Shiva Prasad Upadhyay unanimously elected CPN-UML Achham president

Achham: Shiva Prasad Upadhyay has been unanimously elected as the president of the CPN-UML Achham during the party’s 9th district convention.

The convention also elected Tilak Kuwar as vice president, Hiranda Bhattarai as secretary, and Top Bahadur Shahi and Gaumati Shahi as deputy secretaries. Additionally, 31 members were elected to the district committee.

The 9th convention was inaugurated last Saturday by the party’s central secretary and Sudurpaschim Province in-charge Lekhraj Bhatta.
