Kailali Police Chief Padam Bahadur Bista transferred, Bal Narsingh Rana appointed

Dhangadhi: Chief Superintendent of Police (SP) Padam Bahadur Bista has been transferred from Kailali to the Valley Police Office in Ranipokhari, Kathmandu, according to a decision by the Police Headquarters.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Bal Narsingh Rana has been appointed as the new Chief of Kailali Police. Prior to his transfer, Rana was serving at the Crime Investigation Branch of the Nepal Police Province Office in Banepa.

SP Bista served as the Chief of Kailali Police for approximately 13 months, during which time he set records in tackling drug abuse, arresting absconding accused, and recovering illegal goods.
