Fires damage livestock sheds in Kailali, three goats dead and property worth Rs 346,000 Lost

Dhangadhi: Two separate fire incidents have caused significant losses in Kailali district, affecting livestock and property.

A fire broke out in the shed of Arjun Chaudhary, a resident of Dhurjanna in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-17. One goat was burned in the blaze, resulting in an estimated loss of Rs 96,000, according to the police.

In a separate incident, another fire erupted in the shed of Hans Bik in Lamki Chuha Municipality-2 on Friday night. Two goats perished in the fire, and the shed was completely destroyed. Additionally, his buffalo sustained injuries. The total loss from this incident is estimated at Rs 250,000.

Police are investigating the causes of both incidents.
