Bhubaneswari secondary school management launches enrollment campaign amid nationwide teachers’ strike
Kanchanpur: While teachers and school staff across the country continue their strike, halting the nationwide student enrollment campaign, Bhubaneswari Secondary School in Sisaiya, Bedkot Municipality-6, Kanchanpur, has taken the initiative to move forward independently.
The school management committee has launched the student enrollment campaign for the new academic session 2082, defying the directive from striking teachers to suspend admissions.
Prabin Bogati, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, issued a notice announcing that the enrollment drive will commence from Baisakh 7. He urged parents to accompany their children when coming to school for admission and called on both students and guardians not to be discouraged by the ongoing protest.
Bogati emphasized that despite the teachers' strike, the enrollment campaign is essential to ensure students’ right to education is not hindered. He stated that the management committee, with support from the parents' association, is leading the enrollment initiative to ensure that aspiring students do not miss out on the opportunity to study in community schools.
