Two arrested with narcotics in Godavari and Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Two individuals have been arrested with illegal drugs from Godavari and Dhangadhi in Kailali district.

Ajay Chaudhary, 25, a resident of Lamki Chuha Municipality-7, was arrested with 4 grams and 600 milligrams of narcotics from Boradadi, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3. The arrest was made on Tuesday by a joint police team from the District Police Office, Kailali and the Temporary Police Post, Chatakpur.

In a separate incident, a 17-year-old boy from the same locality was apprehended with 1 gram and 300 milligrams of drugs from Basantapur, Godavari Municipality-4. The arrest was carried out by a police team from the Area Police Office, Malakheti, Kailali.

Police have confirmed that further investigation is underway in both cases.
