Five-year-old boy dies after snakebite in Tikapur

Dhangadhi: A five-year-old boy has died after being bitten by a snake in Tikapur, Kailali.

According to the District Police Office, Lokesh BK, the son of Niraj BK from Ektanagar, Tikapur Municipality-1, was bitten by a snake on the left leg while playing in the courtyard of his home on Monday.

District Police Office spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kabindra Singh Bohara confirmed that the child succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Tikapur Hospital. His body has been kept at the hospital for autopsy.
