A youth was arrested for raping a 13-year-old girl in Dhangadhi

Dhangadi: A 24-year-old youth has been arrested on charges of raping a 13-year-old girl in Dhangadhi, Kailali.

The arrested person has been identified as Shivam Sah, 24, of Krishnanagar, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2, police said. Shah was arrested on Sunday night, police said. Based on a complaint that Sah had raped the girl, police deployed from the temporary police post Bishalnagar arrested him and further investigation is underway in this regard, according to the District Police Office, Kailali.
