Prime Minister Oli Extends Greetings on Ram Nawami and Chaite Dashain

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended his greetings on the occasion of Ram Nawami and Chaite Dashain festival today.
In a message shared through his social media account, Prime Minister Oli highlighted that according to the ancient scripture Ramayana, Lord Ram, born in the Treta Yuga, is revered as an ideal figure of peace, justice, religion, morality, order, good governance, and duty. “In ancient civilizations, countries with good governance were referred to as Ram Rajya. Since Ram chose the path of dignity over popularity, he is regarded as an ideal human being of supreme dignity,” Oli stated in his post.
The Ram Nawami festival, celebrated on the ninth day of the first full moon of Chaitra in the Lunar Calendar, is being observed today by worshipping Lord Shri Ramchandra.
