Customs evasion goods seized in Kailali and Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: Authorities have seized goods smuggled through customs evasion from Kailali and Kanchanpur districts.

A police patrol team from the District Police Office, Kailali, recovered shoes, slippers, tobacco, and other items worth approximately Rs 22,650. The goods were illegally imported from India and seized from Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3, Kailali.

Similarly, a police patrol team from the Parasan Police Post, Kanchanpur, seized tobacco worth around Rs 37,000. The tobacco was found illegally imported from India through customs evasion from Punarbas Municipality-11, Kanchanpur.
