Five arrested with drugs in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested five individuals with drugs from different locations in Kailali.

On Friday, a team from the Area Police Office, Bhajani apprehended Sagiram Chaudhary, 22, of Jawalpur, Bhajani Municipality-3, and Niraj Chaudhary, 21, of Bhajani Municipality-2, in possession of 2 grams and 150 milligrams of heroin.

Similarly, police arrested Nabin Thapa, 19, of Goruwa Rural Municipality-3, Bardiya, from the Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2 check post. He was found with 63 tablets of Spas and 18 tablets of Nitrovat.

Kamal Rana, 27, of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-8, was also arrested from Old Customs Road, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2, with 220 milligrams of brown heroin. Both arrests were made by teams deployed from the District Police Office, Kailali.

Additionally, police arrested Govinda Kathayat, 19, of Godavari Municipality-8, from the Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2 check post. He was found with 1 gram and 180 milligrams of brown heroin. His arrest was carried out jointly by the District Police Office, Kailali and the Police Post, Trinagar.
