Customs evasion goods worth Rs 71,000 seized in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Authorities have seized customs evasion goods worth approximately Rs 71,000, illegally imported from India into Kailali.

The contraband was confiscated from routes leading to Chatakpur in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3 and Kusamghat in Bhajani Municipality-3, according to the District Police Office, Kailali.

A police patrol team took control of the seized items, which included sugar, tobacco, bidis, matches, and other goods valued at the stated amount.
