Tiger spotted in wheat fields, sparks panic in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: A tiger has entered a human settlement in Teduwa village, Belauri Municipality-2, triggering fear among locals.

According to Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Chief of the Sub-Division Forest Office, Kunda, the tiger was spotted in a wheat field within the village. In response, forest officials, security personnel, and local representatives have gathered at the site to assess the situation. The proximity of the wheat field to a dense human settlement has heightened concerns.

Residents have been urged to remain vigilant, and authorities are closely monitoring the tiger’s movement using drones. "We received information at 6 AM, and the tiger was spotted on the drone at 7:30 AM," Yadav confirmed. Surveillance efforts are ongoing to track the animal's activity.
