Illegal goods worth Rs 429,000 seized in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Authorities in Kailali have seized illegal goods worth Rs 429,300, which were smuggled from India by evading customs duties.

The seized goods were intercepted from multiple locations, including Milan Chowk (Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2), Chatakpur (Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3), Purina Community Forest (Bhajani Municipality-7), and Gaura Pauroti (Tikapur Municipality-1).

A police patrol team deployed from the District Police Office, Kailali, took control of various contraband items, including kurtis, plajus, suit pieces, dhoti, pasta, cooking oil, vests, beverages, crackers, chocolates, CFL lights, switchboards, fish, and motorcycle parts in a deteriorated state.
