Husband and wife injured in bear attack in Doti

Doti: A husband and wife sustained injuries following a bear attack in Doti.

The victims, Kari Saud (60) and Durga Saud (55) of Swada, Sayal Rural Municipality-6, were attacked on Monday night in Kharka (Goth) in Saudikhet, according to the District Police Office, Doti.

Both suffered multiple wounds on their faces and bodies and have been transported to Siliguri for treatment, police reported.
