Fugitive in vehicular homicide case arrested in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested a fugitive accused in a vehicular homicide case in Kailali.

Ram Bahadur Tharu (48), a resident of Tikapur Municipality-3, was apprehended on Saturday by a team from the Area Police Office, Tikapur.

Tharu had been on the run since December 1, 2079, after the District Court, Kailali, sentenced him to three months in prison and imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 in connection with the case. Authorities confirmed that he was arrested from his residence.
