Two sisters injured in lightning strike in Achham

Dhangadhi: Two sisters were injured in a lightning strike in Achham on Sunday evening.

The incident occurred at the home of Ratiram Bohara, a resident of Shodsha Madigada, Mellekh Rural Municipality-6. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ishwori Prasad Bhandari of the District Police Office, Achham, 5-year-old Menuka Bohara and 15-year-old Nirmala Bohara sustained injuries when lightning struck their house.

Both injured sisters are currently undergoing treatment at Bayalpata Hospital.
