Missing youth found dead after five days in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A youth who had been missing for five days in Kailali has been found dead.

Ajay Swarnakar (29), a resident of Chuha, Lamkichuha Municipality-10, had been missing since February 11. His body was discovered on Sunday in front of a sugar mill in Chuha, according to the District Police Office, Kailali.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kabindra Singh Bohara, spokesperson for the District Police Office, confirmed the discovery. Swarnakar had left home on February 11 and was reported missing on Saturday, when his family filed a complaint with the Area Police Office, Lamki, requesting a search.

Authorities stated that Swarnakar’s family became aware of his death following the autopsy.
