Three houses destroyed in fire incidents in Achham

Achham: Three separate fire incidents have been reported in Achham, causing significant property damage and the loss of two animals, according to the District Police Office, Achham.
A two-storeyed thatched house belonging to Jogi Luhar, a resident of Rithegaun, Mellekh Rural Municipality-7, caught fire on Thursday, police confirmed.
In another incident, a cowshed owned by Dale Luhar, a resident of the same area, was completely destroyed when a fire started by children in a nearby field spread due to strong winds, consuming two cowsheds in the process.

Similarly, a fire broke out in the two-storeyed thatched house of Manname Budha, a resident of Dadashree, Mellekh Rural Municipality-2. The blaze, caused by sparks from a stove igniting nearby clothes, resulted in a loss of Rs 150,000 and led to the tragic death of two puppies in the cowshed, police reported.
