Man arrested for attacking electricity employee with khukuri in Attariya

Dhangadhi: A 20-year-old man has been arrested for attacking an electricity employee with a khukuri in Attariya, Kailali.

The accused, Prabin Shahi (Martin), was taken into custody for throwing a khukuri at Sundar Lal Chaudhary, 50, in front of the Nepal Electricity Authority, No-Light Service Office. According to the Area Police Office, Malakheti, Shahi, a resident of Chisapani, Lamki Chuha Municipality-3, was arrested on Monday from the Geta area of Godavari Municipality-5.

The attack occurred last Tuesday, and a police team led by Acting Chief of Malakheti Police, Inspector Dan Singh Bhandari, successfully apprehended the suspect.
