Authorities seize customs evasion goods in Godavari and Bhimdatta

Dhangadhi: Law enforcement authorities have seized customs evasion goods from Godavari in Kailali and Bhimdatta in Kanchanpur.

On Monday, a joint police team from the Sudurpaschim Provincial Police Office, Dhangadhi, and Police Post Geta confiscated goods illegally imported from India in Godavari Municipality-5. According to the Provincial Police Office, Dhangadhi, the seized items include two 12-volt batteries worth Rs 95,000, along with bicycles and other contraband.

Similarly, a police patrol team from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, intercepted customs evasion goods worth Rs 175,500 at Triveni Chowk in Bhimdatta Municipality-6. The seized items include animal feed, fertilizer, and other goods illegally brought in from India.
