Young woman and four men arrested with heroin in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: A young woman and four young men have been arrested with heroin in Kanchanpur.

Among those arrested are Laxman Aryal, a resident of Gobariya Radhakrishna Tole, Bhimdatta Municipality-15, along with Kamal Chand (25) and Roshan Shahi (21) of Bhimdatta Municipality-18. A police team from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Mahendranagar, took them into custody along with 0.96 grams of heroin.

Similarly, Yashoda Rana (21) of Shuklaphanta Municipality-1 and Prabesh Dhami (27) of Shuklaphanta Municipality-3 were arrested near the Gaddachauki Holding Center in Bhimdatta Municipality-11. The duo was found in possession of 1.64 grams of heroin and was detained by a joint police team from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Mahendranagar, and the Area Police Office, Gaddachauki.

The District Police Office, Kanchanpur, has stated that further investigation is underway regarding the five individuals arrested on Thursday.
